President’s Welcome

Welcome!

I would like to thank you for taking time to visit our site.  I am pleased to represent the Stone Mountain Lithonia Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.

Since 2004, our chapter has been committed to the mission of advocating on behalf of  Black women and girls by promoting Leadership Development and Gender Equity in the areas of Health,  Education, and Economic Empowerment.

Our members work with others in the in the Stone Mountain-Lithonia community to promote programs that help with testing and providing information on HIV/AIDs, Healthy Living, Ending Domestic Violence, Fighting Human Trafficking, Providing Financial Literacy, and Encouraging Higher Education.  Our Young 100 is a STEM mentoring program for middle and high school Black girls.  We are committed to working with our sister chapters and our national office to ensure Black Women and Girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity no longer exists.  Needless to say, there is still much work to be done in the community we serve.

We have many activities planned throughout the year and we invite you to support us financially and in person.  If you are interested in joining our chapter, please visit our Membership page for more information.

Thank you for your interest and your continued support!

Sincerely,

Sherry A. King

The purpose of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Stone Mountain-Lithonia Chapter (NCBWSML) is to advocate for the improvement of our community at the local, state, and national level for minority women and children.

Our members are professional women representing various walks of life with the sole purpose of empowering women and children of color. NCBWSML members are not only active in the Stone Mountain and Lithonia communities, but in Metro Atlanta as a whole. The focus of our work is political advocacy that results in meaningful and lasting change.
